About Us
We are an Arizona Family (with technical assistance from Daryl Lafferty.)
The Arizona Neighborhoods idea started in 1997 with Don Bates, a local Realtor
for over 27 years. Since then nearly every member of our family has had a part in creating
what is now the best online resource for neighborhoods in Arizona. [See more info below...]

Don Bates had the idea for Arizona Neighborhoods back in 1997 while holding
an open house in Clemente Ranch. Since then he has helped develop that idea into a reality
and continues to brainstorm about
what's next. |

Daryl Lafferty first worked with Don at a Wienerschnitzel
in Tucson while they both attended Flowing Wells High School. Recently he has worked his technical magic
to help create and maintain over 1400 neighborhood sites with lots and lots of data. |

Abraham Bates is working on a Masters in seminary, has two kids with his
wife Nancy and on the side manages all Agent sponsorships. |
 |
Benjamin Bates has a degree in Theatre (very useful) and has been
handling the design for the sites for quite some time now. |
 |
Daniel Bates for two years helped increase the number of neighborhood sites we offer
from 200 to over 1400, as well as much research and map plotting. He is now in Indonesia volunteering
where they recently had an earthquake. |
 |
Micah Bates also was key for several years helping increase the number of websites we offer,
especially researching much of the HOA data. He is now in New York city, but soon on the move again. |
 |
Jessica Bates recently moved back to Arizona with her husband, David, and son, Jacob, and has begun to help manage the websites,
keep the data current and explore ways we can improve what we do. |
